During our travels, The Brooding Architect and I were lucky enough to spend a week eating our way around the coast and countryside of Normandy (in northern France). The highlights included, but were not limited to: drinking far too much apple themed booze – cider, pommeau and calvados – along the cider route, ‘almost-better-than-sex’ truffle infused Camembert {more}

I am going to try really hard not to bore you with too many details of our recent holidays – but will instead let the photos speak for themselves. Here, in true lawyer-style, numbered list form, are my Top 10 food highlights of Paris: 1. Sunset Picnic under the Eiffel Tower. Fantastic French food and {more}

The Brooding Architect and I landed back in Melbourne last Sunday after a month of travels around France and Croatia. The holiday was outrageously good. Highlights included: Drinking ‘ridicloulsy cheap but good’ rosé with every second meal; Eating our body weight in unpasteurised cheese;  Dancing and eating crepes until 4.00am at a real life ‘Big {more}

For the past 6 weeks I have been a terrible blogger.  At the beginning of our relationship, I devoted all of my spare time to this blog. However, as time has gone on, I have noticed myself starting to take the blog for granted.  Worst of all, I have been cheating on the blog with Traveller’s French {more}

Consequently, this post has been sitting in the drafts now for well over a month now – since that last spell of very hot summer weather we had in February and is very, very overdue.  Anyway, {more}

Apologies for my terrible, terrible slackness. It is all too familiar excuse – work, work and more work.  In between my long hours chained to the desk, I did however manage to sneak in a few Melbourne Food & Wine Festival Events (and master the Secrets of the Red Lantern goat curry – but more on that another {more}

Happy (Almost) Weekend! If you are looking for something to do this Sunday, I highly reccommend checking out the Sydney Road Street Party in Brunswick.  The annual Sydney Road Street Party  is a day where the usual car and trams along this iconic street are replaced with a lively sea of people, music and food.
